Mr. Jeffrey Paulin of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 17, 2016. He was 62 years old. Jeffrey was born in Port Washington on January 17, 1954, son of Russell and Mary Ann Solger Paulin. He graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School and Port Washington High School before going on to obtain Associates degrees in Industrial Engineering from MATC and Moraine Park Technical College. Jeffrey had worked at Trak International in Port Washington and Hayes Brakes in Mequon; most recently he had been employed by Port Washington – Saukville School District as a custodian. He retired in 2011. Mr. Paulin enjoyed fixing things, especially lawnmower and small machine repairs. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was frequently seen at Virgil's / Port Yamaha. He also enjoyed scuba diving, often retrieving smelt rigs that had fallen into the water at the harbor. Other hobbies of his included photography and archery. He loved dogs, especially dachshunds, and frequently helped his brother by taking care of his dog. Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Paulin of Port Washington, brothers David, Stephen, Daniel and James (Mary) Paulin, all of Port Washington, sister Amy (Bob) Boehm of Saukville and 8 nieces and nephews: Ryan (fiancée Katie Peters) Paulin of Cedarburg, Katie (Morgan) Herrick of Port Washington, Tamara (Mike) Grittner, also of Port Washington, Kevin Paulin, Holly Paulin and Megan (Justin) Fix, all of Grafton, Jon Boehm of Saukville and Alexander Boehm of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by aunts and uncles Estelle & Lyle Paulin of Sheboygan, Liz & Bill Solger of Chicago, IL and Margaret & Gerrit Bles of Henderson, AR, cousins, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Paulin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Wednesday, December 28th at St. John XXIII Parish – St. Mary's Catholic Church, Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Wednesday from 4-5:30PM before processing to church for Mass.
