Jeffrey D. Sweetman Sweetos Jeff Sweetman of Hartford formerly of Port Washington passed away into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday June 5 2015 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was 44 years old. Jeff was born in Green Bay on March 24 1971 son of Peter Sweetman and Jane Sinkula Sweetman. He grew up in Port Washington graduating from Port Washington High School in 1989. After graduation Jeff served his country in the United States Navy. Jeff served aboard the USS Whidbey Island a Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship during a tour of the Mediterranean. After being honorably discharged from the Navy Jeff worked at Catalyst International in Milwaukee. Jeff currently worked as a customer service representative at Rexnord LLC in the Flat-Top Division in Grafton. Jeff loved to shoot darts and play pool shooting in tournaments all over Wisconsin. He had an extended family with all the friends he met in his leagues. Jeff also enjoyed the Drammit Scotch Club gourmet food and fine wines. He was a huge sports fanatic especially for his favorite football club Manchester United along with the Washington Capitals Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Jeff married his soul mate Rachel Fellenz while in hospice care on May 4 2015. He is survived by his wife Rachel of Hartford his two stepdaughters Lauren and Madison his parents Peter and Jane Sweetman of Port Washington his two sisters Amy (Tim) Reiss of Port Washington and Melissa (Terry) Mannion of West Chester PA. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother Bernice Sinkula of Two Rivers nieces and nephews: Spencer and Madison Reiss and Drew Lily and Brendan Mannion many aunts uncles cousins and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bernard Sinkula and Paul and Alice Sweetman and his cousin Rebecca Havlinek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 11th at 7 PM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin St. Port Washington. Father Pat Wendt will preside. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday June 11th from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the Washington County Humane Society in honor of his babies Skittles and Nala. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
