Jeffrey Paul Barber, of Milwaukee, formerly of Fredonia, passed away at his home in Milwaukee on July 18, 2023. He was 64 years old.

Jeff was born in Port Washington on May 2, 1959, son of William and Marlene (nee Bublitz) Barber. He grew up in the Fredonia area, attended local schools and graduated from Northern Ozaukee High School with the class of 1977. After high school he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jeff was a meat cutter, working at meat markets in the Milwaukee area. He was a smoke house manager of Cub Foods in Milwaukee and Colorado Springs.

Jeff enjoyed being outdoors biking, hiking, and gardening. His family was the beneficiary of his stained-glass hobby.

He is survived by his son Jason (Krissy) Barber and his grandsons Shawn and Brayden. Jeff is further survived by his mother Marlene Barber, sisters Beth (Kim) Barber-Hansen, Bonnie (Dean) Brookins, and his brother David (Cindy) Barber, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father William and his grandparents Art and Alice Bublitz and Bernard and Myra Barber.

In accordance with Jeff's wishes, private family services were held.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or to a local food pantry is suggested.
