Jeanne E. Kimble, 77, joined her husband Dennis Jacoby in heaven on November 4th, 2025.

She was born on May 11th, 1948 in Streator, IL to Evelyn and Everett Redfern. She graduated from Woodland High School and went on to get her nursing degree from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She married Bud Kimble in May 1970 who later passed away from leukemia in 1990. They had one daughter, Julie.

She had a passion for giving to the community and served in many roles such working at the county health department, teaching Lamaze, serving as director of the Pekin YWCA, and volunteered for numerous women's rights and racial equality organizations. She loved hosting international students and continued relationships with many of them still decades later. When not serving, you could often find her playing her treasured family piano.

She moved to Port Washington, WI after meeting Dennis Jacoby, whom she later married on July 29th, 2013. She enjoyed exploring Door County with him whether finding new foods or creative art and pottery. They loved creating a beautiful home and garden together. But most of all she loved her 7 grandchildren: Teagan and Tierney Herman, Marielle and Knox Leenders, Sophie Jacoby, Marissa and Ivan Jacoby.

Jeanne was proceeded in death by her parents, both her husbands, her brother Robert Redfern, and her son-in-law Hardy Leenders. She is survived by her daughter Julie Leenders, stepchildren Tracy (Tim) Herman, Trent (Kristin) Jacoby, Kayla Jacoby, her "adopted" Italian daughter, Francesca Bortesi, and her grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no funeral. She asks instead we rejoice in her life and time together and not to mourn her death any longer.
