Jeanette "Jenny" Sedlar was born into Eternal Life Tuesday, August 20, 2019. She was 94 years old. Jeanette was born on April 23, 1925 to Joseph and Josephine Matuszak. Jeanette was full of love and her first thoughts were always of her husband and family. After her husband's passing, she raised the children alone. She was a determined woman who obtained her driver's license at the age of 47 so she could attend church and provide transportation to her children. She loved life, polka dancing and music and cooking. The church was a source of her strength and she prayed the rosary frequently. Jeanette is survived by her children Paul (Janet), Gloria, Jack (Marcia), Mary, Jerry, Daniel (Patti) Tony (Denise) Sedlar and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Anton "Tony" Sedlar and son Thomas "Tom" Sedlar. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. John XXIII Parish - St. Mary's Catholic Church 430 North Johnson Street Port Washington, WI 53074 at 4:00 PM. Father Patrick Wendt will preside. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM. Jeanette will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington.
