JEAN L. KULTGEN nbsp; Mrs. Jean Kultgen of Pioneer Road in Cedarburg passed away Monday evening July 6 2009 at Columbia-St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.nbsp; She was 67 years old.nbsp; Jean was born in Fond du Lac on November 1 1941 daughter of Robert and Helen Willis Krug.nbsp; She received her degree in nursing in 1962 in Milwaukee.nbsp; As a young lady Jean was a member of a ballroom dance club. She not only won awards as a dancer she met her future husband.nbsp; On September 14 1968 Jean was united in marriage with Alvin Kultgen Jr. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Fredonia.nbsp; The couple raised three children together and lived in Fredonia Belgium and Random Lake areas.nbsp; Alvin preceded her in death in 1990.nbsp; Mrs. Kultgen had worked as a nurse at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington and later at Columbia-St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee mainly with the Orthopedics Department.nbsp; She retired in 2006 after 26 years with the hospital.nbsp; Jean was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton.nbsp; She was also a longtime member of TOPS.nbsp; She had enjoyed gardening and yard-work when she was younger and more recently had done a lot of knitting and crocheting.nbsp; Mrs. Kultgen is survived by her three children: Debra Kultgen of Cedarburg Pamela Kultgen of Overland Park KS and James Kultgen of Cedarburg.nbsp; She is further survived by her grandson Cody Kultgen of Grafton her brother William (Faith) Krug of Madison her sister Joyce (Al) Snyder of Fond du Lac and her mother-in-law Anna Kultgen of Lasata.nbsp; Mrs. Kultgen is also survived by her brothers-and sisters-in-law: Janice (Frank) Vrubley of Belgium Joan Schommer of Belgium Linda Kultgen of Neosho Melissa (the late Robert) Kultgen of Pocasset MA Tom (Marsha) Kultgen of Sheboygan Mike (Donna) Kultgen of Fredonia and Rick (Ruth) Kultgen of Port Washington numerous nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband and one brother Robert Krug.nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM on Thursday July 9th at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Rd. in Grafton.nbsp; Pastor Mark Wagner will officiate the service.nbsp; She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 2-4PM.nbsp; The family suggests memorials in Jeanrsquo;s name to Our Savior Lutheran Church ldquo;Rooted and Growing Strongerrdquo; Building fund or the ALS Association. nbsp;nbsp; nbsp;nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;br /Service:br /pspan style=font-size: 12pt;span style=font-family: times new romantimes;A Memorial Service will be held at 4PM on Thursday July 9th at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Rd. in Grafton.span style=mso-spacerun: yes;nbsp;/span/span/span/pbr /Cemetery:br /pUnion Cemetery Port Washington/p
