Jayne C. Micheln (nee Wishau) entered into Eternal Life with her Heavenly Father on October 10, 2018 at age 88. Devoted wife of Roger Micheln (1929-2015) of 61yrs. Loving mother of son, Douglas; daughter Ann (Dave) Heiden; grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, BJ (Cheryl), Jenny (Craig) Wenger, 5 great-granddaughters. Preceded in death by brother Cliff. Jayne was born in Racine, WI and lived on a farm in Caledonia and was a graduate of UW-Madison, earning her degrees in journalism and advertising. She enjoyed working for CUNA Mutual Ins. Jayne was a creative writer for Society of Madison before marrying her love Roger. The two settled in Mequon in 1964. She was a long-time member of Mequon United Methodist Church. Jayne was involved in PTA and AAUW. She was later employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for 14yrs in a WI Hospital Rate/Review Department then as executive secretary to Director of Advertising/Marketing. Jayne had a beautiful full life sharing it with her family and friends. She enjoyed church activities, cooking, crafts, painting, piano, golf, camping, and canoeing. She loved collecting a piece of nature from each of her travels. Jayne took great care of her flower garden and was always creating something beautiful. We will miss her kind-hearted spirit and cheerful smile. A Memorial Service will be at 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Mequon United Methodist Church (11011 N. Oriole Lane, Mequon, WI, 53092) with Rev. Sue Lee presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Refreshments immediately following the service.
