Janis Sherron of Port Washington passed away in the morning hours of Saturday August 17 2013 at Horizon Hospice Center in Mequon. She was 62 years old. Jan was born in Milwaukee on July 5 1951 daughter of Raymond Winter and Dolores Charneski Winter. Jan grew up in the St. Francis area later moving to northern Ozaukee County. On September 21 1985 she married Don Sherron in Saukville. Jan was a hair dresser having many of her own studios throughout her life including New Wave Hair Design in Grafton. Jan enjoyed nature gardening traveling trips to casinos but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Braelynn. She is survived by her two daughters Samantha Ritenour and Nicole Ritenour both of Port Washington. She is further survived by her granddaughter Braelynn Jaccard of Port Washington her sister Carol Winter of Pin Green ND her brother-in-law James Anderson of Greendale nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Donald and her sister Judith Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 24th at 1 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. She will be laid to rest in Holden East Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation will take place on Saturday August 24th at the Funeral Home from 11 AM - 1 PM.
