Janice "Jan" Habeck (nee Larvick) age 70 years of Adell, passed away on August 29, 2021 at her
residence. She was born June 3, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Carl and Lillian (Heller)
Larvick. Jan grew up in Grafton, WI and was a 1969 graduate of Grafton High School. After earning her
Secretarial Certification from Lakeshore Technical College, she worked in Port Washington at Simplicity Manufacturing and Heritage Nursing Home.
Jan was united in marriage to William J. Habeck at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherman Center, WI on June 5, 1971. Throughout the years, she served as a Girl Scout leader, a sewing leader for Sherman Center Pals 4-H club, did in-home childcare, belonged to the Quilters at St. John's Lutheran Church and was involved with the Adell Fire Department. Jan enjoyed sewing and making quilts for her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years Bill of Adell, three daughters Tammy (Joe) Peters of Janesville, Lorie (Jeff) Poeschl of West Bend, and Pamela Habeck of Sheboygan Falls, four grandchildren Monica and Daniel (special friend Casidy Frey) Peters and Matthew and Lucas Krier, two step -grandchildren Emma and Alex Poeschl, two brothers David Larvick and Michael Witte, her sister Renee (Ed) Kirk, sisters- and brothers-in-law Alice and Ken Walters, Ken and JoAnne Habeck, Ruth Weinhoetz, Helen and Dick Isaacson, Karen Habeck and David Wernecke. She is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Larvick and Lillian Witte, mother-and father-in-law Albert and Luzetta Habeck and two brothers Terry and Myron Larvick.
Funeral services will held on Friday, September 10, 5 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. Visitation at the funeral Home Friday from 3-5 PM.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon Richardson Hospice for the care given to
Jan, also any family and friends for all of their compassion and care, especially Alice and Helen.
