Janet Mikyska Janet E. Mikyska age 60 years of Saukville passed away on Tuesday August 8 2006 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan after a long battle with kidney disease. She was born in Bruce WI on April 2 1946 daughter of Virgil Richardson and Rose Anna Cornelissen Richardson. On April 18 1967 she married John Sonny Mikyska Jr. in Milwaukee. The couple purchased a home in Saukville in 1972 and have made their home there ever since. Janet worked as a school secretary at Maple Dale Elementary School in Glendale for 12 years and then worked for Cardinal Stritch University retiring in 2004. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville and enjoyed making Afghans crocheting cooking canning baking gardening and reading. Janet is survived her husband Sonny two sons John Mikyska III of Cedarburg and Adam Mikyska of West Bend. She is further survived by 4 grandchildren; Jessica Regan Gavin and Donovan 3 sisters; Juanita (Bill) Marshalek of Hubertus Carey Juskowiak of Richfield and Judy (Jessie) Montoya of Hubertus brothers-in-law sisters-in-law nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers Virgil Donald and Byrd Richardson. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 11 2006 at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Father Karl Acker officiating. In state at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 PM. The Eernisse funeral Home is assisting the family.
