Janet Grace Goss, 77 of Port Washington, Wisconsin, passed away May 9th, 2018 surrounded by the love and comforts of family at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Janet was born on December 31, 1940, in Peoria, Illinois to her parents, Henry and Doris Carlberg. Janet's favorite pastime as a child was picking blackberries with her mother and older siblings.
Later on, she resided in San Bernadino, CA, for many countless years working for the San Bernadino county. After retirement, Janet moved to Wisconsin to be close to family, where she shared her skills as a seamstress, baker, and homemaker for her children and grandchildren. She ran her own business from home, RIP Patches by Janet Goss, for many years, in the hopes that her work could bring peace to those that have lost loved ones. Janet loved to bake her grandchildren birthday cakes, to sew costumes for Halloween and class projects, and to create and play games to pass the time.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Doris: her siblings: Shirley, Henry, Ronnie, and Charlotte. Janet is survived by two sisters: Sandy Wielgosh and Pat Smith: her three children: Allen (Kelly) Beck, Conni (Mike) Marschke, and Karen (Mike) Reynolds; her eight grandchildren: Zachary Beck, Jacob Beck, Karly Beck, Megan Marschke, Ryan Marschke, Amie (Scott) Kocos, Ethan Reynolds, Garet Reynolds, and Desiree Reynolds; and four great-grandchildren: Lyric, Meladii, and Harmonii Reynolds, and Adalyn Kocos.
Janet's wishes were to not have funeral services, but for her surviving family and friends to celebrate her life as it was.
Janet was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. To Janet, family always came first. She will always be remembered by those who knew her as a kind-hearted and loving woman who lived her life to the fullest.
