Jane Dorr died peacefully on Nov 25 2009 at Belgium Gardens Assisted Living.nbsp; Jane was wife of the late Dr. Robert Dorr mother of John (Patricia Jansen) Joseph (Dorothy Duff) James (Mary Lou Ballweg) and grandmother of: Jennifer Jelinek Julie Loos Jonathan Dorr Rebecca Baumann Aquene Freechild Trisha Halberg Jeffrey Dorr; andnbsp; great grandmother of Sierra amp; Scarlett Jelinek Christina Baumann and Brandon Loos.nbsp; Jane is further survived by sisters Rose and Alice and was preceded in death by sisters Kate Fuhrman and Mary Ann Rogge and by brothers Norman Dick Joe Bob and Pat Peterson. Born Jane Catherine Fuhrman on Jan 20 1918 of Alois Fuhrman amp; Blanch Wasicek Fuhrman she was the oldest of ten children.nbsp; She attended St. Leorsquo;s Grade School Holy Angels and Messmer High Schools.nbsp;nbsp; She received her R.N. degree from Misericordia Nursing School in 1939 where she also met her future husband Dr Robert Dorr.nbsp; They married on August 5 1945 and moved to Belgium in 1946.nbsp; Jane was a dedicated member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church where she served in many different ways including Parish Council CCD Eucharistic Ministry and delivering communion to shut-ins.nbsp; She also was involved in many other volunteer programs including: community blood drives county immunization clinics Ozaukee County Mental Health Board and St. Vincent De Paul Society. For over 20 years Jane helped to organize cook delivery and serve food at St. Benrsquo;s meal program in Milwaukee which remained one of her favorite charities.
