JAMES N. WATRY Mr. James Watry of Briar Drive in West Bend passed away at Kathy Hospice in West Bend Sunday evening December 10 2006. He was 70 years old. Jim was born in Belgium on September 10 1936 son of Emil and Clara Anzia Watry. He served in the US Navy for 12 years going over seas to Korea and Hawaii. On January 27 1968 he was united in marriage with Sue Ellen Yankunas at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. The couple moved to the West Bend area in 1971. Mr. Watry most recently had worked as a clerk at the VA Center in West Allis. Jim was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in West Bend the Belgium American Legion Post # 412 and the West Bend VFW Fred A. Scheafer Post. He had been an avid hunter and fisherman especially enjoying the Great Lakes. Trips to the casino and friendly games of sheepshead were also pastimes that he liked as well as spending time outdoors and tending his roses. Mr. Watry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Sue Ellen his brother John (Kathy) Watry of Mukwonago sisters-in-law Mary Kay (Philip) Stone of Colorado Springs CO and Ann Marie (William) Mikyska of Hingham. He is further survived by nephews Brian Watry of Mukwonago Christopher (Hillary) Watry of West Allis and great-nephew Theodore Watry also of West Allis other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 14 7PM at Immaculate Conception Church 406 Jefferson St. in West Bend. Father Mike Moran will officiate. Inurnment will follow later at St. Mary Cemetery Belgium. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-7PM.
