Mr. James J. Seiler age 70 years of West Bend formerly of Fredonia passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday July 29 2006 at his residence. He was born on July 7 1936 in Sturgeon Bay son of Louis Seiler and Mabel Adamson Seiler. On October 27 1956 he was united in marriage to Sandra Jorns at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay. She preceded him in death in February 2006. During the 1960's while the couple lived in Sturgeon Bay Jim worked as a manager at the Eagles Club. After moving his family to Fredonia he then worked as a foreman in the sheet metal industry for many local construction firms. After retiring he worked part-time for Bob Fish Automotive. He is a retired member of Local #18 of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association and a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1964 of West Bend. Jim was known for his great sense of humor and the practical jokes that he loved to play on his friends. He also enjoyed darts working in his yard and socializing with friends and family. Jim is survived by three children Ann (Chris) Wallner-Canales of Grafton Robert (Figen) Seiler of Libertyville IL and Jeffrey of Cedarburg 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister Joanne MacMillin of Sturgeon Bay brothers and sisters-in-law Thomas (Sandy) Jorns Joyce Frando and Adrian (Bruce) Oram all of Sturgeon Bay and Jacqueline Stiehl of Clovis CA nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife parents and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday August 2 2006 at 6 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Deacon Jerry Malueg officiating. There will be a Gathering of Remembrance on Wednesday the 2nd from 4-6 PM.
