James H. Peters "Jim"
Jim Peters, of the town of Saukville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, November 10, 2015 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. He was 70 years old. Jim was born April 22, 1945 in Milwaukee, the son of M.H. and Leonora (nee Schmalz) Peters. On July 1, 1972, he was united in marriage with Donna Berg in Waukegan, IL. Jim worked as a produce manager for local grocery stores, most recently at Sendiks in Grafton. He also worked as a part-time insurance agent for P & L Insurance Agencies in Muskego.
Jim was a long time active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton, where he was very involved with assorted groups and studies. He was a member of the Buick Club of America, and loved collector cars and airplanes.
Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna, and their children: Fred Nagle of Omaha, NE, Tammy (Paul) Michelfelder of Cedarburg, Lori Nagle of Saukville, Jennifer Nagle of Cedarburg, Michael Peters of Sheboygan, Lisa (Ilya) Rosson of Chicago, IL and Mandy (Ed Hanson) Peters of New Paltz, NY. He is further survived by 4 grandchildren: Gabrielle Nagle, Alex Michelfelder, Jacob Nagle and Miles Rosson, sister Karen (Gene) Lemke of Panama City Beach, FL, brother-in-law Arthur Berg of Menomonee Falls, sister-in-law Ardelle (Stuart) Thurow of Pewaukee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter Danielle Nagle.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1332 Arrowhead Road in Grafton. Pastor Mark Wagner will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday morning from 10AM - 12 noon. Jim will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.
