JAMES L. NOESKE SR.nbsp;nbsp; ldquo;Fuzzyrdquo; Mr. Jim Noeske of 7th Ave. in Grafton passed away on Friday afternoon August 6th 2010nbsp; at Columbia-St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon after suffering a cardiac episode earlier in the week.nbsp; He was 73 years old.nbsp; James was born in Milwaukee on September 4 1936 son of Edward and Loretta Krimmer Noeske.nbsp; After his schooling Jim served in the United States Army.nbsp; He was stationed at Ft. Hood TX where he worked with the Engineering Corps.nbsp; Jim was united in marriage with Elenor Pollman on March 8 1958 at St. Johnrsquo;s Lutheran Church in Mequon.nbsp; The couple settled in Glendale and later moved to Grafton in 1970 where they raised their family.nbsp; ldquo;Fuzzyrdquo; had been employed by the Village of Fox Point in the Department of Public Works.nbsp; He retired in 2001 after 42 years of service. Since 2006 he had been very involved in helping his son Jim with his business Belgium Small Engine Repairs.nbsp; nbsp;Mr. Noeske had been a 20+ year member of the Grafton Fire Department at one time achieving the rank of ldquo;Captain of Engineersrdquo;. He had always loved ldquo;putzingrdquo; with anything mechanical and was always willing to help out neighbors and friends with projects.nbsp; ldquo;Fuzzyrdquo; or as he was known by the neighbor kids ldquo;Wardrdquo; enjoyed yard work grilling puzzles and socializing with ldquo;the old timersrdquo;.nbsp; He was also fond of offering his opinions on the rulings during Court TV segments.nbsp; Mostly Mr. Noeske enjoyed spending his time with his friends family and granddaughters.nbsp; He is survived by his wife Elenor of Grafton their children Jim (Kim) Noeske Jr. of Belgium amp; Sue (Todd) Brakob of Oregon WI and his four cherished granddaughters: Elizabeth and Allison Noeske of Belgium amp; Meagan and Erin Brakob of Oregon.nbsp; He is further survived by his brothers Howard (Pat) Noeske of Milwaukee and Gordon (the late Ramona) Noeske of Butler sisters-in-law Pat Noeske of Shawano and Betty (Everett) Priest of Ft. Pierce FL cousins nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents 2 brothers Edward Jr. and Ronald Noeske and 2 sisters: Phyllis Fehlhaber and Winifred Stalter.nbsp; A Memorial Servicenbsp;will be held on Friday August 13 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.nbsp; Pastor Don Zahurance will officiate.nbsp; The family will recievenbsp;visitors at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7PM.nbsp;nbsp; The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and physicians at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus.br /Service:br /p7:00 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
