James (Jimmy) Allen Brewer, 63, of Tucson, Arizona, sadly left us on November 30, 2024, due to heart failure.

James was born and raised in Port Washington, Wisconsin, and graduated from Port Washington High School in 1979. He worked in the hardware side of Information Technology (IT), which took him to Rochester, Minnesota, and later Tucson, Arizona, where he worked for Raytheon Technologies until his death.

James was a perpetual learner. History was one of his many areas of interest. He was a walking encyclopedia regarding everything military, from equipment to campaigns. Growing up and into his adult years, he would spend hours with friends playing tactical and strategic board games simulating battles of all kinds. Later, he became an avid Civil War reenactor with the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry Company C. In a yearly ritual, James enjoyed traveling back to Port Washington for Fish Day and to visit with friends.

He left behind his brother, David Brewer, and David's daughter, Amanda Orozco. James is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Brewer and his parents, Earl and Margaret (Scales) Brewer.

A public service will be held at 11:00 AM, October 31st, at the Brewer family plot at the Union Cemetery, Port Washington, Wisconsin.
