Mr. Jim Hinrichs passed away Sunday morning, February 4, 2024, at Silverado Nursing Facility in Glendale, where he had resided for the last two years. He was 59 years old.
James was born in Milwaukee on November 6, 1964, son of Robert and Karen (nee Koeppen) Hinrichs. He grew up in Mequon before moving to Belgium as a young man. Jim attended Northern Ozaukee High School in Fredonia, where he excelled on the golf team, and graduated with the Class of 1983.
Mr. Hinrichs worked as a landscaper for a number of years and retired due to health reasons in 2016.
Jim loved being outside and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, archery and kayaking when he was able.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Adam (Erin) Hinrichs of Grafton, twin grandsons Max & Wil Hinrichs, also of Grafton, mother Karen Hinrichs of Saukville, brother Robert "Bob" (Lisa) Hinrichs of Osseo, nephew Joe and niece Jena, also of Osseo. He is further survived by aunt Sandee Koeppen, uncle Don (Linda) Hinrichs, cousin Christine (David) Freund, other family and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 10th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., in Port Washington. Burial will take place later that day at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10th, from 9:30AM until service begin at 10:30AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Huntington's Disease Society of America (https://hdsa.org/) .
The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
