Obituary

James "Jim" Brandt, age 69 years, formerly of Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, August 10 at his home in Door County.

He was born February 10, 1954, in Manitowoc, son of the late Arthur and Marie (nee Saduske) Brandt. Jim was a 1972 graduate of Chilton High School. After graduating, he worked at Manitowoc Company as a journeyman machinist. On May 3, 1975, he married Janet Ditter at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho, WI (Calumet County).

Jim was co-owner of Associated Builders Inc. of Manitowoc and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Dyckesville, WI.

Survivors include his wife Janet, his son Eric (Andrea) Brandt of Shorewood, WI, and daughter Andrea Brandt of Glendale, WI, 2 grandchildren Stella and Vera, two brothers Robert (Mary) Brandt and Thomas Brandt, his sister Anne (Steve) Biebel, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Marie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19th, 11 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dyckesville, WI. Visitation at the CHURCH Friday from 4-7 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Interment St. Louis Parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim's name to Roncalli Catholic Schools, Manitowoc, WI, or St. Mary's/St. Michael's Catholic Schools, Cato, WI.
