JAMES A. KRUEGER nbsp; Mr. Jim Krueger of Port Washington formerly of Western Springs and Bellwood IL passed away Sunday morning January 16 2011 at Harbor Club where he had been residing for the last few years.nbsp; He was 84 years old.nbsp; James was born in Oak Park IL on September 18 1926 son of Arthur and Amanda Scheiblein Krueger.nbsp; After his schooling Jim joined the United States Army and served in World War II.nbsp; He was united in marriage with Gertrude Trentmann on September 4 1948 in Germany.nbsp; The couple settled in Illinois and raised their family.nbsp; Mr. Krueger had worked as a machinist for Borg Warner for 47 years before retiring.nbsp; The couple moved to Port Washington in 1991.nbsp; Gertrude preceded him in death in 1998. Mr. Krueger was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington.nbsp; He enjoyed bowling in his younger days as well as gardening and bus tours with his wife.nbsp; Friends and family knew him to be a great handyman and he helped many with household projects.nbsp; He is survived by two daughters: Anne Lee (Dietz) Vedder of Pardeeville and Debbie (Thomas) Manoni of Port Washington as well as two grandchildren: Laura (Billy) Borkenhagen of Howards Grove nbsp;and Anthony Manoni of Neenah.nbsp; Funeral Services will be held on 7PM on Wednesday January 19th at Christ the King Lutheran Church 420 W. Whitefish Road in Port Washington.nbsp; Mr. Krueger will be inurned beside his wife in Oakridge Cemetery Hillside IL at a later date.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 5-7PM.nbsp; Memorials to Christ the King Lutheran Church are appreciated.nbsp; br /Service:br /pspan style=font-size: 12pt;span style=font-family: Times New Roman;nbsp;Funeral Services will be held on 7PM on Wednesday January 19th at Christ the King Lutheran Church 420 W.
