Ms. Jackie Vavra, formerly of Port Washington, Campbellsport and West Bend, passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Grafton on Wednesday evening, September 5, 2018. She was 41 years old.
Jacqueline was born in Port Washington on February 21, 1977, daughter of John C. and Judith Begush Vavra. She attended Lincoln Elementary and Thomas Jefferson Middle School and graduated from Port Washington High School, Class of 1995. Ms. Vavra had previously been employed at Ozaukee Bank and Port Washington State Bank, and most recently was a manager at the West Bend branch of Chase.
Jackie lived life through her enjoyment of music. She liked doing arts and crafts, and had recently embraced the current coloring trend. Jackie had a knack for flower gardening and had especially liked the mums that the autumn season brought. Her children were most important to her, and she enjoyed the day-to-day bustle of soccer practices, school and teenagers.
Survivors include her children Brian and Leah Holdmann, both of Grafton, father John Vavra of Campbellsport, siblings Jenni (John) Dettmann of Kewaskum, John (Sandy) Vavra III of Random Lake and Jill Vavra of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by her son-of-the-heart Bryson, half-brother Chip (Laura) Colson of New Berlin, IL, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mom, Judy Vavra.
Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Tuesday, September 11, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Tracy Johnson will preside. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:30Pm until 5:45PM.
