JACOB BOHL Mr. Jacob Bohl formerly of Hwy O in the Town of Saukville passed away at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington where he has resided for the last four years on Sunday December 14 2008.nbsp; He was 97 years old.nbsp;nbsp; Jacob was born in Russia on January 6 1911 son of George and Margaret Thompson Bohl.nbsp; He immigrated to the United States as a young child and spent his childhood in Scottsbluff NE.nbsp; His family moved to Milwaukee when he was a teenager.nbsp; Jacob was united in marriage with Valeria Klauser in Milwaukee on June 10 1933.nbsp; The couple raised their family there until moving to Saukville in 1971.nbsp; Most recently Mr. Bohl worked at Perlick Company in Milwaukee as a Tool amp; Die Maker.nbsp; He retired in 1975.nbsp; Jacob was a member of Open Door Bible Church in Port Washington and a member of the Ozaukee County Gideons and was very active in both.nbsp; His passions included tending his hollyhocks photography and playing his organ. Jacob loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. nbsp;A very hospitable man the family hosted missionaries frequently and enjoyed having visitors.nbsp; He is survived by his wife of 75 years Valeria of Port Washington their children Richard A. Bohl of Milwaukee John (Deborah) Bohl of Brookfield and the late Kathryn Bohl.nbsp; He is further survived by his two grandchildren Sarah Bohl of Brookfield and Daniel Bohl of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn and 10 brothers amp; sisters.nbsp; Funeral services will be held at 6PM on Friday December 19th at Open Door Bible Church 3420 Hwy LL in Port Washington.nbsp; Pastor Sid Litke will officiate.nbsp; He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 4-6PM.nbsp; Memorials to the family are suggested in lieu of flowers. nbsp; br /Service:br /pspan style=\Funeral services will be held at 6PM on Friday December 19th at Open Door Bible Church 3420 Hwy LL in Port Washington.span style=\nbsp; /spanPastor Sid Litke will officiate./span/pbr /Cemetery:br /pspan style=\span style=\He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.span style=\nbsp; /span/span/span/p
