Jack A. Zamow Mr. Jack Zamow of Belgium passed away Monday evening January 7 2013 in Port Washington. He was 80 years old. Jack was born March 13 1932 in Milwaukee the son of Walter and Rose Lenz Zamow. After school Jack proudly served his country in the United States Marines. On June 12 1965 he was united in marriage with Charlotte Garner in Illinois. She preceded him in death in 2005. For many years Jack was a machine operator at Continental Can. Jack was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Belgium as well as the Belgium American Legion Post 412 He was an avid Packer fan who also enjoyed trips to the casino. Jack is survived by his sister-in-law Marcella Zamow of Marshfield brother-in-law Phil (Judy) Ward of Ohio nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte brother Walter Zamow and sister Dorothy Wasemiller. According to Jack's wishes his body was donated to medical science. A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM on Sunday January 13 2013 at St. Mark Lutheran Church 200 Park St. Belgium. Full military honors will be held following the service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday evening from 6-7PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the local Humane Society or Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
