Iris Priesgen nbsp;Mrs. Iris Priesgen of Saukville formerly of Waubeka and Newburg passed away early Saturday morning April 9 2011 at Dekora Springs in Saukville where she had resided the last year. She was 81 years old. Iris was born January 10 1930 in Hartford the daughter of Alfred and Genevieve Guerndt. On November 5 1949 she was united in marriage with Peter Priesgen. He preceded her in death in 1973. Since moving to Dekora Springs Iris had become a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed latch hooking embroidery knitting drawing cooking baking word searches playing dominos with her grandchildren and listening to polka music. Most importantly she loved taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Iris is survived by her 6 children: Frank (the late Mary) Priesgen of Hartford Wesley (Diane) Priesgen of Wauzeka Jesse Priesgen of Waukesha Linda (Fred) Zabel of Menomonee Falls Diane Priesgen of Fond du Lac and Tammy (John) Kirmse of Fredonia. She is further survived by her grandchildren Molly Morgan Corey Anthony Jessica Jesse Eric Richard Erica Wesley Fred Jr. and Neil; 8 great-grandchildren one brother Donald (Betty) Guerndt of Hartford one sister Ann (Wesley) Taylor of West Bend nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her life long friend and ldquo;fatherrdquo; and ldquo;grandfatherrdquo; to Irisrsquo; family Andrew Pederson and her siblings: Ken Guerndt Leroy Guerndt Izara Guerndt. She will be laid to rest beside Andrew at St. Paulrsquo;s Cemetery in Waubeka. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday April 16 at St. Paulrsquo;s Cemetery. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
