Hubert C. Gruetzmacher Hubert Gruetzmacher of Port Washington passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday October 1 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 82 years old. Hubert was born in Fort Atkinson on November 5 1928 son of Walter Gruetzmacher and Amelia Fauska Gruetzmacher. On August 27 1949 he married Carol Washicheck at St. John's Lutheran Church in West Allis. Hubert worked as a Senior Design Engineer for AO Smith for over 30 years retiring in 1981. He enjoyed photography wine making and especially reading. Hubert was a very kind and loving father and was very brave during his battle with cancer. Hubert is survived by his four children; Gloria Jean (Eugene) Raess of Random Lake Paul Hubert (Jeanette) Gruetzmacher of Saukville Donald James Gruetzmacher of Port Washington and Jean Carol (Dennis) Hubert of Saukville. He is further survived by three grandchildren; Lora Jean (Jason) Horn of Sheboygan and Shane and Mryia Hubert of Saukville three great-grandchildren; Autumn Trinity and Elle Horn one sister Doris Richardson of Chicago nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife two grandsons Matthew James Gruetzmacher and Brian Raess and his brother Ralph Gruetzmacher. A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday October 5th at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington.
