HOWARD W. CLAUSING Mr. Howard Clausing of Milwaukee Street in Port Washington passed away at his home surrounded by his family early Sunday morning October 29th 2006. He was 90 years old. Howard was born on June 18th 1916 in the Town of Port Washington son of Henry and Helen Sperber Clausing. On November 21 1940 he was united in marriage with Veronica Vera Tholl at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. She preceded him in death earlier this year. Mr. Clausing had worked as a machinist with Simplicity in Port Washington for 40 years retiring in 1983. Howard was a member the AFL-CIO. After retiring he drove the Senior Citizen bus and enjoyed bowling golf and gardening tomatoes. Mr. Clausing is survived by his four children: Daniel (LeAra) Clausing of Panama Howard F. (Alice) Clausing of Grafton Randall (Wilma) Clausing of Sheboygan and Jean (Bruce) Stromme of Port Washington. He is further survived by 9 grandchildren 5 step-grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife an infant son Jeffrey 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 2nd at 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. His nephew Rev. Dennis O'Brien will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7PM.
