Howard A. Hoefs Mr. Howard Hoefs formerly of Glendale passed away Thursday evening February 7 2013 at Harbor Club in Port Washington. He was 94 years old. Howard was born June 1 1918 in Milwaukee the son of Harry Hoefs and Selma Bauman. After graduation Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army. In 1941 he was united in marriage with Evelyn Mohr in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death in 1958. In 1965 he was united in marriage with Vera Powers. She preceded him in death in 1995. For over 30 years Howard owned his own business Merchandising Crafts in Milwaukee. Howard was a master craftsman who enjoyed woodworking gardening and fishing. Howard is survived by his children: Robert (Lynn) Hoefs of Port Washington and Sharon Brockway of AZ grandchildren: Rebecca (Shawn) Kirsten Christopher (fianc Eliza) and Allison great-grandchildren Alix and Sean nieces nephews other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday February 23 at Living Hope Church 851 W. Dekora St. Saukville. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday morning from 10-11AM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
