HENRY F. KLINGELHOETS Mr. Henry Klingelhoets of Harbor Club in Port Washington formerly of Milwaukee passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton Monday morning June 30 2014. He was 91 years old. Henry was born in Turtle Lake WI on April 2 1923 one of eleven children born to Arthur and Theresa Kluser Klingelhoets. Following his schooling Henry moved to Milwaukee in search of work; he joined the US Army and proudly served during World War II. He was united in marriage with June L. Ristow on June 23 1951 and the couple settled in Milwaukee to raise their family. Mr. Klingelhoets worked as a clerk at the downtown Milwaukee US Post Office until his retirement in 1984. His wife preceded him in death in 1986. Henry moved to Port Harbor Campus in Port Washington in 2005. In his younger days Mr. Klingelhoets was a member of the American Legion enjoyed golfing and bowling. More recently he enjoyed watching baseball and the Green Bay Packers on television. Henry was happiest when he was helping others. He is survived by his sons Robert (Susan) Klingelhoets of Sussex and Randy (Laura) Klingelhoets of Cedar Grove seven grandchildren: Kelly (Nicholas) Bullard of Mukwonago Kristine (Steven) Kistner of Waukesha Karen (Gerry) Holton of Pewaukee Marcia (Brian) Voskuil of Cedar Grove Jamie (Jon) Grotenhuis of Oostburg Sara Klos of Belgium and Daniel Klingelhoets also of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Mason Grace Carsen and Greta 2 brothers: Jim (Dolores) Klingelhoets of St. Paul MN and Phil (Lois) Klingelhoets of Idaho nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife 5 brothers and 3 sisters. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave Cedarburg on Wednesday July 9th from 5-7PM followed by a brief service. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors beside his wife at Wisconsin Memorial Park the following day. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
