HELEN M. VENNE Mrs. Helen Venne of Northwoods Rd in the Town of Port Washington formerly of Milwaukee passed away at Columbia- St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus Thursday morning June 30th 2005. She was 88 years old. Helen was born in Chicago daughter of John and Mary Svehla Novak. On September 16 1936 she was united in marriage with Chester Venne in Rhinelander. He preceded her in death in 1963. Helen was a 30+ year employee of the American Can Company in Milwaukee retiring in 1980. After moving to Port Washington she enjoyed helping raising her great-grandchildren spending time with her family and doing word search puzzles. Helen is survived by her children Beverly (Dale) L'Anglois and Bruce (Dolores) Venne both of Port Washington 3 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by1 brother William (Betty) Wheeler of Milwaukee 1 sister Willow (Ralph) Cunningham of San Antonio TX nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 1 brother Richard Wheeler and 1 sister Dolores Saflarski. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 2nd 12 noon at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Father James Ernster will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Port Washington.
