HELEN S. LARGE Mrs. Helen Large age 95 years of Heritage Nursing Home Port Washington died Saturday March 24 2007 at Heritage Nursing Home. She was born April 5 1911 in the Town of Port Washington daughter of John and Mary Uelman Weyker. On January 24 1933 she married Harvey Large at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple farmed in the Town of Port Washington until retiring. He preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Large was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington and enjoyed bowling sheepshead cards and bingo. She is survived by three sons: Donald (Lorraine) Large and Eugene (Shirley) Large both of Port Washington and George (Sandra) Large of Belgium one daughter -in -law Pat Large of Port Washington 19 grandchildren 46 great grandchildren 7 great-great grandchildren one sister Mary Poull of Port Washington and two sisters- in -law: Clara Weyker of Random Lake and Elsie Reiter of Appleton. She was preceded in death by two sons two grandsons five brothers and 1 sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday April 3rd at 7PM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin Street Port Washington. Father James Ernster will officiate. Interment will follow the next day at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH Tuesday April 3rd from 4-7PM.
