Mrs. Helen Keey passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Kathy Hospice in the Town of Polk, while surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old.
Helen was born on February 12, 1935, in Cedar Grove, WI, the daughter of Benjamin and Irma (nee Schreurs) Te Winkle. The family moved to Milwaukee when Helen was young, and she completed her education at local schools.
On November 12, 1954, Helen was united in marriage with Edward Keey at Garfield Avenue Baptist Church in Milwaukee. The couple settled in Milwaukee and were blessed with two children. They moved to Richfield in 1977.
Mrs. Keey worked in the Personnel Department of Woolworth's Central Accounting Office for over 30 years. Her desk was the first one when you walked through the door, and she enjoyed her interactions with all of the employees. She was often in charge of outings and gatherings.
Following retirement, Helen and Ed moved to The Villages in Florida. They loved golfing, card club, playing Sheepshead, dancing, and participating in "the Wisconsin Club" events. Ed preceded Helen in death in 1999, and Helen eventually moved back to Wisconsin in 2010, taking an apartment in Newburg, and later moving from Lasata to Lincoln Village in 2023.
Mrs. Keey was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in West Bend. Helen loved to socialize and have friends around her, but she always had her favorite dogs as well. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doing word search puzzles, card games, dominoes and puzzles. She always had a love of the theater and enjoyed going to see productions at venues such as the Fireside.
Survivors include her children Linda Antonicci of Cedar Grove and Martin (Susan) Keey of West Bend, grandson Nicholas Antonicci of Palo Alto, CA, other family and friends.
