Hattie Peiffer of Saukville passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday June 4 2013 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was 91 years old. Hattie was born in Saukville on October 28 1921 the daughter of John Link and Hattie Lorence Link. She was the last survivor of the couples' nine children. On June 10 1944 she married Milton Peiffer at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. He preceded her in death in 1998. Hattie worked for Mercury Marine in Cedarburg as a machinist for 37 years. She was also a licensed beautician. Hattie was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville the International Association of Machinists Union and the Immaculate Conception Senior Citizens. In her younger days she enjoyed roller skating and bowling. She is survived by two sisters-in-law Mamie Peiffer and Evelyn Goedde numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Milton one infant daughter four brothers and and four sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 7th at 1 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Father Tom Lijewski will be presiding. She will be laid to rest next to Milton in St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville. Visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Friday June 7th from 12-1 PM.
