Harold L. Miller Harold Miller age 83 years of Random Lake passed away in the morning hours of Wednesday March 11 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family.nbsp; He was born in the Town of Sherman on May 26 1925 son of William Miller and Annetta Fox Miller.nbsp; After high school Harold enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. serving his country during WWII.nbsp; On July 23 1949 he marriednbsp; Pearl Geib at St. Maryrsquo;s church in Random Lake.nbsp; Mr. Miller worked for the Random Lake Co-op as a fuel distributor for over 30 years.nbsp; He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish serving as Parish treasurer.nbsp; He was also a member and past commander of the Hamm-Miller American Legion Post in Random Lake a member of the 40 et 8 and a former Village of Random Lake Board member.nbsp; Harold loved taking trips with his wife both in and outside the country.nbsp; He was an avid golfer enjoyed putting puzzles together playing cards gardening reading and was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan.nbsp; He is survived by his wife Pearl of almost 60 years his seven children: James (Angeles) of Bossier City LA Robert of Mayville Sherry (Fred) Spears of Vista CA Mary (the late Dick Provost) Miller of Wisconsin Rapids Debra (Gary) Silva of Aurora CO John (Susan) of Jackson and Susan (Joe) Hansen of Bethesda MD.nbsp; He is further survived by his six grandchildren Kermit (Yvonne) McGovern Miles Hansen Sy (Melissa) Miller David Miller Alexa Silva and Bobby Braaskma two great-grandchildren Logan Miller and Keelin McGovern four brothers: Merlin (Dolores) Miller of Greenbush Gilbert (Marge) Miller of Random Lake Menroy (Beverly) Miller of Port Washington and Bill (Marilyn) Miller of Random lake nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents his brother James and his brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Marion Geib and Walter and Carol McCartney.nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday March 15th at 7 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Maryrsquo;s Chapel in Random Lake with Father Richard Cerpich officiating.nbsp; He will be laid to rest with full military honors at St. Maryrsquo;s Cemetery in Random Lake.nbsp; Visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Sunday the 15th from 4-7 PM.nbsp; Memorials suggested to Our Lady of the Lake School.nbsp; The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family.nbsp; Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.comnbsp;nbsp;
