HAROLD F. AAGERUP Mr. Harold Aagerup of Webster Street in Port Washington passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon on Sunday morning November 16 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old. Harold was born in Milwaukee on April 22 1931 son of Harold D. and Mabel Hoffmann Aagerup. He served proudly in the Unites States Air Force during the Korean War. On May 21 1955 Harold was united in marriage with Barbara Runkel at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church. In 1956 the couple settled in Port Washington and started their family. Mr. Aagerup worked for Wisconsin Electric as a machinist retiring in 1990 after 35 years on the job. He then worked at St. Mary's Ozaukee for 16 years. Harold had a Private Pilot's License and enjoyed flying whenever he had the chance he also liked flying on simulators or on simulation games on his computer. He loved boating and spending time up on Lake Namakagon near Cable WI with family. Harold is survived by his wife Barbara their two children: Lori (Scott) Kartheiser of Tampa FL and Michael Aagerup of Waukesha and five grandchildren: Clayton Cody Casey Claire and Julia. He is further survived by his brother Richard Aagerup of Washburn nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 4PM on Saturday November 22 at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Pastor Don Drollinger will preside. He will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 2-4PM. A special thank you to the staff at Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital - Ozaukee Heritage Nursing Home Rehab Center and Horizon Hospice for the excellent care Harold received during his illness.
