Obituary

Haley Maria Ferguson, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2024, at family property in Amberg, Wisconsin, at the age of 32.

Residing in Belgium, Wisconsin, Haley was a vibrant spirit whose love touched the hearts of many. Born on May 21, 1992, Haley grew up in Port Washington, where she graduated from Port Washington High School in 2010. She pursued her passion for education by earning a degree in early childhood education, dedicating her career to nurturing young minds. Haley was a teacher at Stepping Stones Children's Center and the Christian Learning Center, and most recently, she served as support staff, crossing guard, and substitute teacher at Cedar Grove/Belgium Elementary School. Her time spent with children was not just a job; it was her calling and her greatest joy.

Haley's life was marked by her unwavering faith and devotion to Christ Church in Mequon, which inspired her to carry love and kindness into the lives of her son, Kobe, and all those around her. Her passion for children was unmatched, and her warmth and compassion were evident to everyone who knew her. She truly was a mentor to many young children, shaping their lives with her guidance and support.

Haley's love for her son Kobe was immeasurable; he was her world. She cherished every moment spent with him, sharing her love for traveling, swimming, and storytelling. A gifted writer and orator, Haley had a way of connecting with others that left a lasting impact. She embraced the power of social media to stay connected with friends and family, always eager to share her adventures and accomplishments, including her pride in her newest vehicle.

Haley will be deeply missed by her son Kobe, her father Jeff Klein, her older brother Caleb, and her other younger siblings Elijah, Mackenzie, and Noah. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, especially Stacy and Kelly, as well as her beloved Grandpa Sam. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maribeth Klein, and her grandparents Ed and Flo Gugliatto, Betty Ferguson, and Ken and Flo Klein. Haley's sudden passing from a pulmonary embolism leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are suggested to help cover immediate expenses and to go towards Kobe's future educational costs.

Visitation will be held from 4:30-6:00pm on Thursday, September 5th, at Christ Church, 13460 N. Port Washington Rd, Mequon, followed by a service at 6PM.

The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements; online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com .

In the words of those who loved her, Haley's light will forever shine in our memories, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire us all.
