Grace L. Anton passed away at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg on October 26, 2019. She was 91 years old. Grace was born on June 2, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Milton and Vernetta (nee Gebler) Alexander. She was united in marriage to Raymond Anton on September 2, 1949. The couple settled in Glendale and started their family later moving to Mequon. Grace and Ray were the owner operators of Hillside Auto in Port Washington beginning in 1959 later retiring in 1986 after selling the business. Ray and Grace bought a house in Arkansas that they spent time re-building around their daily golf game. They moved back to Wisconsin full time 2005. Grace was a social woman and lived for games. She enjoyed everything from bowling, sheepshead, and golf. Grace is survived by her son Kim (Sharon) Anton and her two granddaughters Lisa (Tony) Nguyen and Michelle (Grant) Chenok one great granddaughter soon to arrive and her sister Nancy Prout. Grace is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, brothers Robert, Howard and James Alexander and sisters Patricia Olson and Audrey Stahl. A Memorial Service celebrating Grace's life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 West Grand Avenue Port Washington, Wisconsin 53074. Pastor Brandon Lemons will officiate services. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 until the time of the service at 2:30 PM. Grace and her husband Raymond will be brought to their final place of rest at Union Cemetery in Port Washington immediately following the service.
