Glenn W. Tutaj of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was 67. Glenn was born in Milwaukee to William and Lorraine (nee Singer) Tutaj on August 26, 1950.
Glenn loved fishing and camping at his favorite places which include Bazsos Retreat, Manitowish Waters, Sandy Beach Lake, Iron County and Playful Goose Campground. He enjoyed sitting by the campfire, tasteless T-shirts, Ford F-150 Pick-Up Trucks, Friday night fish fries and his Irish Setters.
Glenn was a man small in stature with a huge personality. He could be difficult. He was impatient, opinionated, chauvinistic, and stubborn with a wide streak of sarcasm. He had a delightfully wicked sense of humor and a disarming smile that he used many a time to get himself out of trouble. He was an intensely private person. It was not easy to gain his trust, but once that trust was earned he was the most loyal of friends. He never, ever held back. He will be sorely missed by those closest to him.
Glenn leaves behind his Fiancée Patricia Grindley, his sons, Matthew (Jill) Tutaj and Jonathon Tutaj; grandchildren, Jacob and Brooklynn Tutaj; sister Deborah (Fred) Lukasik; Brett Grindley to whom he was like a father and his beloved Irish Setter, Lacey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held for Glenn at 6:00PM on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Eernisse Funeral Home of Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the FUNERAL HOME from 4:00PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or the Ozaukee County Humane Society.
