Gladys Sinnen passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was born in the town of Belgium on April 9, 1925 to Nicholas and Catherine (nee Rodisch) Krick. On May 29, 1948 she married Roland Sinnen in Lake Church. Over the years they did a lot of traveling with their motor home. After retiring from Musebeck Shoe Company she enjoyed trips to Oneida to play bingo. Gladys is a member of St John XXIII, Immaculate Conception parish of Saukville and a 75-year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Gladys is survived by two children, Dan Sinnen (special friend Charlotte) of Gilmer, Texas and Diane Lorge (special friend Jeff) of Port Washington, three granddaughters, Valena Sinnen and Dayna (Michael) McKey both of Texas and Kristyn (Aaron) Hubacher of Menomonee Falls; two step-grandsons, Bryan Lorge (special friend Jenny) of Belgium and Kevin Lorge of Cedar Grove. She is further survived by three great-grandchildren, Dale McKey, Lenix Lorge and James Hubacher. Sisters-in-law Geraldine Schowalter of Gilbert Arizona and Alicia (Donny) Nowack of Nekoosa. She was preceded in death by her husband Rolly in 1985 and son-in-law Butch Lorge in 2008. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George (Marcie) Krick and John (Evelyn) Krick; sisters, Martha Mueller, Olive Schommer, Loretta Wellenstein and Alice Miller; brothers-in-law, Eddie Mayer. Herman Mueller, Julius Schommer, Harvey Flerchinger, Elmer Wellenstein and George Miller; in-laws, Marcella (Alex Schmitz, LaVerne (Clarence) Wetor, Norbert (Ruth) Sinnen, Jerome (Nina) Sinnen Jr and Herb Schowalter. A Funeral Service for Gladys will be at 6:00PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Father Guy Gurath presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of service. A private burial will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Random Lake/Dacada where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and son-in-law.
