Gladys W. Jung, a life-long Saukville resident, passed away at Milan Estates early Thursday, June 13th, 2024. She was 94 years old.

Gladys was born on December 28th, 1929, the daughter of Mike and Olive Weiss. She attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School, Class of 1947.

On November 15th, 1952, Gladys was united in marriage with John Baumann at Immaculate Conceptions Catholic Church in Saukville. Together they had one son. John preceded Gladys in death in 1969. Later, she married Milford "Mike" Jung. Gladys and Mike spent 46 loving years together until his passing on April 13th, 2020.

Gladys was a committed member of the Saukville American Legion Auxiliary where she was a past president, past treasurer, and acted as the chair of craft shows. She was a member of National Catholic Order of Foresters, Court 789, of which she served as secretary for over 46 years, as well as a member of the Saukville Historical Society, and a volunteer with the Port Washington Food Pantry for over 35 years. Gladys was very fond of camping and participated in the Wisconsin Retiree's camping group. She also loved to play cards and dance to Polka music.

Survivors include her son David (Alice Brock), grandsons Michael (Carrie) and Dan, and granddaughter Sarah. She is further survived by great-grandchildren Jake (Kira) Baumann, Johnny Baumann and Joey Baumann, along with other family and friends. Gladys is preceded in death by her husbands John Baumann and Mike Jung, and sister Darlene Weiss.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 25th, at St. John XXIII- St. Peter of Alcantara Church (1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington). Fr. Patrick Wendt will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church from 1:00-2:00PM. Gladys will be laid to rest beside John Baumann at St. Mary Cemetery in Saukville immediately following the Mass.
