Germaine Bowe of Wauwatosa formerly of Cleveland WI and Dacada passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the evening hours of Friday May 24 2013 at Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee. She was 93 years old. Germaine was born on the family farm located in the Town of Holland on March 23 1920 to Hubert Didier and Mary Hamm Didier. She was the last survivor of the couples' 16 children. On June 19 1950 she married Elmer Bowe in Waukegan IL. Germaine worked as an assembler for the Garton Toy Company in Sheboygan. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wauwatosa and enjoyed sheepshead and playing Scrabble. For Germaine family was very important. She enjoyed every one of her grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Germaine is survived by her seven children: Harvey (Aggie) Bowe of Random Lake Bonnie (the late Bill) Mickkelson of Loves Park IL Dianne (Eric) Kiehl of Muskego Louis (Kathleen) Bowe of Kiel Michael (Molly) Bowe of Newburg Steven Bowe of Madison and Neal (Claire) Bowe of Waco TX. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren 7 great-great-grandchildren 2 sisters-in-law; Lois Bowe of Waldo and Dorothy (Harold) Ninehouse of Chilton many many nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer her son Leonard her granddaughter Olivia her great-grandson J.J. six brothers and nine sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday June 1st at 12 noon at our Lady of the Lakes Parish-St. Nicholas Chapel Highway K Dacada. Father Michael Barrett will officiate. She will be laid to rest with her family in St. Mary's Cemetery Chilton. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 1st at the CHURCH from 10 AM until 12 noon.
