Geraldine A. Paape Geri Geraldine Geri Paape age 65 years of Adell formerly of the Town of Saukville and the Town of Sherman passed away on Friday February 18 2005 at Greendale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sheboygan. She was born on March 13 1939 in Grafton daughter of the late Milton and Viola Purgundy Mertzig. On April 4 1959 she married Frederick Fritz Paape at St. Peter's UCC Church in Saukville. Mrs. Paape worked at Allen Edmonds in Port Washington for 26 years. She also helped her husband on the couple's farms in Saukville and Random Lake. Geri also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren reading country music gardening writing poetry and crossword puzzles. She is survived by seven children; Michael of Adell Nicholas (Lori) of Oostburg Ralph (Donna) of Cascade Susan (James) Schwai of Cascade Curtiss of Random Lake Dale of Oshkosh and Dennis (Anne) of Sheboygan Falls three step-children; Frederick Jr. Poncho of Adell Nancy Oman of Random Lake and Charles (Jeanne) of Plymouth. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren 2 brothers Milton Mertzig of Juneau and Daniel (Lynn) Mertzig of West Bend 1 sister Kathleen Schroeder of West Bend nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband and grandson Steven Paape. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 21 2005 at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue Port Washington with Rev.Robert P. Seater officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Saukville. In state at the Funeral Home Monday from 4-7 PM. Memorials appreciated.
