Ms. Geraldine Egerer passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon early Thursday morning, September 14, 2017, at the age of 87. Geraldine and her twin brother Gerald were born in Port Washington on July 5, 1930 to Henry and Anna Meirsch Egerer. Ms. Egerer grew up on the family farm in the Town of Port Washington. When she was a teenager, Gerladine moved to Watertown to live at Bethesda Lutheran Home. She worked at Goodwill for many years, and loved going to work. She was a hard worker! Geraldine also loved music, especially watching the Lawrence Welk show. Ms. Egerer moved to Cedar Springs Nursing Home in Cedarburg in 2012. She is survived by her sisters Sally Ann (the late Lawrence) Jentges of Town of Port Washington and Marlene (the late Gust) Blank of Jackson, sisters-in-law LaVerne (the late Henry Jr.) Egerer of Town of Belgium, Elsa (the late Edgar) Egerer of Cedarburg. and Carol (the late Marvin) Egerer of Port Washington. She is further survived by many nieces & nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and four sisters. Private family services will be held on Sunday, September 17th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Geraldine will be laid to rest beside her parents in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
