Obituary

GERALD W. MEDINGERnbsp; ldquo;Jerryrdquo; Mr. Jerry Medinger of County Road LL in the Town of Belgium passed away unexpectedly as a result of lung cancer at his residence on Tuesday morning July 6th 2010.nbsp; He was a day shy of his 50th birthday.nbsp; Jerry was born in Port Washington on July 7 1960 fifth son of Harvey and Margaret ldquo;Bootsrdquo; Metz Medinger.nbsp; Jerry attended school in Random Lake.nbsp; Mr. Medinger currently worked doing landscaping.nbsp; He was a passionate HAM radio operator (KR9EDM) and enjoyed working on the computer electronics and tinkering with mechanical items.nbsp; Jerry enjoyed fishing and camping and had been an active Boy Scout Dad with his son.nbsp; He is survived by his cherished son Joshua Entringer of Random Lake his daughters Lita Medinger of Milwaukee and Shayna Medinger of Cedar Grove his parents Harvey and Margaret Medinger of Cedar Grove and grandma Hildegarde Metz of West Bend.nbsp; He is further survived by his siblings: sister Mari (Keith) Falk of Plymouth brothers Fred (Kellie) of Random Lake Harvey Jr. (Janet) of Browntown Joe (Jean) of Sheboygan Phillip of Manitowoc and Tony (Shelley) of Adell nieces nephews aunts uncles cousins great-nieces and ndash;nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; Also surviving are his dear friends Bruce Vicki amp; Jeff the Jim amp; Debbie Schmidt family Say Dang Vang amp; Mee Lee Yang.nbsp; He is preceded in death by brother Louis and infant sister Mary Barbara as well as his grandparents Mathias Metz Jac and Theresa Medinger.nbsp; Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 10th at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church 230 Butler St. Random Lake.nbsp; Father Dick Fleischman will officiate.nbsp; Jerry will be laid to rest with his brother in St. Patrickrsquo;s Cemetery Adell.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 10AM until 12 noon.nbsp; Jerryrsquo;s wish was that EVERONE quit smoking.nbsp; As such memorials are suggested in his name to the American Cancer Society.nbsp; Memorials also may be made to the Random Lake Interfaith Food Pantry or a charity of choice.nbsp; br /Service:br /pSaturday July 10thnbsp;12 noon at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Mary Chapel 230 Butler Street in Random Lake./pbr /Cemetery:br /pSt. Patrick Cemetery Adell/p
