Gerald "Jerry" M. Puch of Oostburg passed away on July 12, 2025, at his home with his wife after a long courageous battle with lung and heart issues, at the age of 68. He was born in Port Washington, the beloved son of Anton and Amanda (Maciel) Puch on October 31, 1956. Jerry married the love of his life Donna Deheck on December 13, 1986, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Dacada.
Jerry graduated from Port Washington High School in 1975. He went onto further his education in the tool and die trade at a local technical college. Jerry worked for K.W. Muth/Lear as a prototype machinist for twenty years before medically retiring in 2005.
Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening and riding his motorcycle were among his favorite activities. He also loved to make wine. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs Elli and Franki.
Jerry is survived by his wife and loving bride of 38 years, Donna, children Tim Puch (fiancée Sarah Riedell), and Cassandra (Billy) Burch. He is further survived by his brother Kevin (Debbie) Puch, brothers-in-law Joe (Peggy) Deheck, Jim, Andy, and Tom Deheck, Tony (Susan) Deheck, sisters-in-law Diane (Mike) Miller, and Judy (Dave) Morales, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Daniel, and Steven, and infant sister Beverly. Jerry was also preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Theresa and Edwin Deheck,
He will be greatly missed and gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
