GERALD F. PAULSON The Lord called Gerald F. Paulson home on Thursday October 9 2008 with his family at his side at his home on Park Street in Port Washington. He was 82 years old. nbsp; Gerald was born January 27 1926 in Port Washington son of Earl and Bernice Dayton Paulson. During WWII Gerald served as a Fireman first class with the United States Navy.nbsp; He was united in marriage with Naomi Riemert on April 14 1951 in Crown Pointe IN. She preceded him in death in May of 2006.nbsp; Mr. Paulson worked as a machinist at Simplicity.nbsp; He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed working on engines NASCAR and hunting.nbsp; When his children were younger he enjoyed taking them to races in Slinger and in Cedarburg and also taking them to the Indy 500.nbsp; nbsp; He is survived by 3 sons; Robert (Dawn) Paulson of Saukville WI Tim Paulson of Saukville Jerry (Paula) Paulson of Howard WI 4 daughters: Ina (Steve) Saunders of Saukville Susan (Richard) Molitor of Port Washington Anita (Brian) Franzke of Saukville and Kay Paulson of Port Washington 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. nbsp; He is further survived by his brother August (Marion) Paulson of Black River Falls one sister Grace Grebner of Elizabethton TN 1 brother-in-law Ellison ldquo;Butchrdquo; (Agnes) Riemert of Port Washington and 4 sisters-in-law: Marilyn Reiss of Plymouth Maxine (Bud) Heinen of Port Washington Cornelia (Tom) Kauth of Campbellsport and Audrey Paulson of Ripon nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Naomi 2 sons; Roger and Ronald great-grandson Matthew Keesler his brother Louie Paulson and 3 sisters; Arvilda Woodford Opal Forster and Kathryn McCaslin.nbsp; nbsp; Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 18th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington beginning at 1:00 PM. Pastor David Guse will officiate. He will be laid to rest with full military honors nbsp;next to his wife at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.
