Gerald Biever of Lakewood formerly of Little Kohler and Fond du Lac passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday September 1 2015 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. He was 73 years old. Jerry was born in West Bend on March 22 1942 son of Leo Biever Sr. and Cecelia Schueller Biever. Jerry grew up in the Newburg area. After high school he started working at Mercury Marine in Cedarburg and then moved with them to Fond du Lac. He retired in 2004 after 42 years at the company. On December 5 1997 he married Sharon Severson in Fond du Lac. Jerry was a great father always doing something with his kids. Work came first but after work he was outside doing something. Whether it was snowmobiling boating baseball fishing or motorcycling he always had time for his children and grandchildren. He loved his dogs and his other animals. He was busy man and always on the go. Jerry and Sharon enjoyed traveling all over the world. He loved to talk to anyone and everyone. Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon of Lakewood his five children: Judy Gambrel of Dacada Jerry (Wendy) Biever of Dacada Ricky (Nicole) Biever of Germany Donna (Kevin) Stageman of Fredonia and James (Debbie) Biever of Fredonia. He is further survived by nine grandchildren: Alisha and Brandon Biever Tim Biever Samantha Cody Collin and Seth Stageman and Paige and Blake Biever his sister Mildred (Ernie) Fromm of Grafton nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents his in-laws Orland and Margie Severson and his brother-in-law Gary and Frankie Severson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 12th at 12 noon at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. A visitation will precede the funeral service at the funeral home from 10 Am until 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested. The Eernisse Funeral Home Cedarburg is honored to serve the family.
