Obituary

Gerald A. Teeters Jerry Mr. Jerry Teeters of Fredonia formerly of Cedarburg and Milwaukee passed away Tuesday evening July 31 2012 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 73 years old. Jerry was born June 26 1939 in Park Falls son of Leo and Agnes Rein Teeters. In his youth Jerry was a golden glove boxer and spent time logging on the family farm with his father. After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Army. On October 24 1964 he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Raap at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death in 2010. Before retiring in 2004 Jerry was a truck driver for NLCL for 20+ years and Roundy's for 15+ years retiring in 2004. Jerry was a member of Divine Savior St. Rose Chapel American Legion Post 410 in Fredonia Crystal Springs Lake Association and Teamsters Local 200. He enjoyed fishing hunting strawberry picking working on anything mechanical and most importantly being with his family. Jerry is survived by his children: Michael (Kim) Teeters of Mundelin IL Patrick (Janel) Teeters of Elkhart Lake Lori Buretz of Fredonia and Jodi (Jeff) Voigt of Allenton. He is further survived by 8 grandchildren: Nicole Jacob Brittney Justin Lindsay Devon Derek and McKayla great-granddaughter Cameron 8 siblings: George (the late Jo) of Orange City FL Richard (Jean) of Phoenix AZ Ken (Judy) of Wausau Mary (Rich) Wallace of Phoenix AZ John (Paula) of Houston TX Carol (Pat) Szymczak of Wautoma Dan (Kathy) of Wausau and Tom (Connie) of Park Falls and nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty grandson Anthony brother James (the late Mary) and his godfather Wilbur Bill Teeters. Mass of Christian will be held at 4PM at Divine Savior Holy Cross Chapel 5530 Hwy B Holy Cross. He will be laid to rest at Washington County Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington on Monday from 2-3:30PM leaving from the Funeral Home to Divine Savior Holy Cross Chapel at 3:30.
