It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgeann Andrea Ellison of Milwaukee. She passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023 surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 81.

She was born the daughter of George and Olena LaBeau on April 10, 1941 in Milwaukee. Georgeann married the love of her life James H. Ellison on May 16, 1964.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Daniel James Ellison.

Those left to cherish Georgeann's memory include her devoted husband James, loving daughter Elizabeth (Rocky) Dunst and grandchildren Justin, Brayden and Alyssa.

Georgeann graduated from the Columbia Hospital School of Nursing in 1964. Her natural gift was always serving people which was exemplified through mentoring and being a preceptor to many nurses, sharing the wisdom and experience that she gained over the years. She was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who created a special bond with each one of us. She looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and instilled in them a love for gardening and hiking on her land, along with sharing her "love of the cabin" in Almond, WI. She loved her yellow labs and frequently addressed them as her best friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at Elizabeth and Rocky Dunst's Home at 735 Fox Tail Lane Grafton WI on February 12th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the family to plant fruit trees at her cabin so her beautiful spirit can soar high above the trees, watching over her loving family and friends.
