George J. Eischen Jr., age 70 of Random Lake, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 under the care of the Sharon Richardson Hospice Center. He was born March 20, 1947 in Sheboygan, son of the late George J. Eischen Sr. and Estelle M. (nee Bittner) Eischen. George was a 1965 graduate of Random Lake High School. On February 3, 1968, he married Darlene Bruesewitz at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Dacada. George spent his lifetime helping to run the family farm. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors working in the fields and milking the cows. His other passion was repairing the farm machinery. If something was broken, he was determined to find a way to get it working again. He also owned and operated Modern Metals Inc. in Fredonia. George is survived by his wife Darlene and their children Chris (Steve) Jungers and Paul (Kristin) Eischen, both of Random Lake, five grandchildren Matthew (Amanda) Jungers, Adam Jungers, Brandon Jungers, Jared Jungers and Jacob Eischen. He is further survived by three brothers James (Mary) Eischen and William (Sharon) Eischen of Random Lake, Donald (Myra) Eischen of Cascade, his sister Rosemary (Douglas) Seyfert of Fredonia, sisters-in-law Audrey Bruesewitz and Marjorie Murphy, and brother-in-law Gerald (Linda) Bruesewitz, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great grandchild to be born in August. George was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, and two grandchildren Alan and Emily. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22nd, 12 noon at Our Lady of The Lakes, St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada, with Father Richard Cerpich presiding. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Saturday from 9 AM until noon. The family wishes to thank Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all the care that they provided.
