GENEVIEVE nbsp;POLESKY nbsp;Genevieve Polesky age 94 years of Port Washington WI formerly of Winthrop and Rochester died Tuesday evening August 18 2009 at the home of her son in Port Washington WI where she had resided for the past three years.nbsp; She was born June 27 1915 in New Ulm MN daughter of Ditlow Mallen and Esther Swanson Mallen.nbsp; On January 1 1943 she married Arnold Polesky in Pensacola FL.nbsp; She was a lifelong resident of Winthrop until moving to Rochester from 1965 ndash; 2006.nbsp; Mrs. Polesky was an elementary school teacher in Minneapolis Pensacola Lafayette MN and Byron MN before retiring in 1973.nbsp; She enjoyed playing the piano dancing reading and traveling.nbsp; She is survived by her son Charles (Dona) Polesky of Port Washington WI two granddaughters Nicole (Kevin) Zsori and Elizabeth Polesky two great grandchildren Brady and Nathan other relatives and friends.nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband her daughter Janice sister Bernice and brother Orville. Funeral Monday August 24 1 PM at Faith United Church in Winthrop with with Pastor Eric Haugan officiating.nbsp; Burial will be in The Winthrop Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop on Sunday from 3-5 PM and at the Church Monday from 12 noon until time of service.
